Conference

IFSEC CONFERENCE 2008 - Protecting business, people and processes - was a resounding success with a fantastic three-day programme covering the most cutting edge issues for the security industry enabling delegates to learn, share and develop their outlook in security in a receptive environment.

Delegates heard from and debated with the likes of IMB, McDonalds, BP International, JP Morgan, Counter-Terrorism Command, City of London Police and many more.

As IFSEC celebrates its 35th birthday and maintains its place as the world's largest annual event for the security industry, the conference bought some of the leading figures in the sector: Rageh Omaar, Former BBC Baghdad Correspondant chaired the special counter terror focus day; Mark Whittle, National Security Manager, McDonalds; Rod Allen, Worldwide Security Solutions, IBM; John Scott, Head of Security, Post Office; David Evans, Project Director 2012, British Security Industry Association, Sue Seasby, Head of Global Group Security, Barclays.
