Angleur (Liège), Belgium – April 2013 – Euresys demonstrates the Picolo.net HD8R at IFSEC. The Picolo.net HD8R is an HD-SDI / HDcctv™ video encoder in a 19-inch 1U chassis. It is engineered to handle the most demanding video surveillance applications.
As the foundation for an adaptive video-surveillance system, the Picolo.net HD8R delivers impressive performance, streaming video from up to 8 Full HD (1080p30) or HD (720p60) HD-SDI / HDcctv™ cameras over an IP video-surveillance network.
HD-SDI / HDcctv™ is as easy to install and maintain as analog CCTV systems. It uses the same coaxial cables as analog for new or existing installations and delivers high-definition digital video over at least 100 meters of standard RG59 coaxial cables, with the added benefit of sending live uncompressed video to other devices, such as monitors, with no latency.
