Physical Security Information Management at King's Cross Station: Case Study

15 May 2013
14:15 - 15:15
Location:  Intelligent Building Theatre
King's Cross Station in London is one of the UK's largest and oldest stations, and is run and maintained by Network Rail. As part of the major refurbishment work recently completed there, managers at the site were tasked with upgrading and improving the quality and performance of existing security systems. To do so they selected a situational (Station) management solution, or advanced Physical Security Information Management (PSIM). This presentation outlines the challenges and considerations involved in choosing the right type of solution which has subsequently enhanced security, safety and operational efficiencies.
