uPASS Access
Nedap AVI announces the introduction of “uPASS Access”, a groundbreaking RFID reader for convenient building access control. The uPASS Access supports the passive UHF technology (EPC Gen II) and enables a read range of up to 2 meters (6 feet). The reader is characterized by a small design that fits on the doorpost of each interior. uPASS Access is applicable in many situations, such as typical hands-free building access for staff in hospitals, wheelchair users, employees in warehouses, and more high volume entrances in office buildings and at universities. The reader supports all common security industry standards for communication with access control systems.
