FAQ

Q1. Are the Awards free to enter?
A.  The awards are free to enter, however we do ask that if you are nominated as a finalist then at least 1 representative from the company purchases a ticket for the Awards Dinner as you may win and be asked to collect your trophy.

Q2. How can I ensure I meet the deadline?
A. Although we open the entry site in December, we appreciate that the deadline can sometimes be overlooked. We will send regular reminders about the awards via e-mail.

You can also pre-register your intention to submit an entry by sending an e-mail stating your intention to enter and the category you are interested in. We will then make regular contact with you to check if you need assistance or support and to remind you of the deadline. This pre-registration will also assist us in managing the judging process.

Q3. How do I apply?
A. Please carefully read the advice on how to enter the Awards scheme, and the terms and conditions of entry, set out in the Awards brochure. Download he Awards Brochure.

When you have chosen which category to enter, visit www.ifsec.co.uk/awards and submit your entry.

We've put together some step-by-step instructions about how to apply. Click here to view the pdf.

Follow the instructions carefully and ensure that you submit your entry by Friday 9th March 2012

Q4. I am not sure what category my entry best fits.
A. Firstly, look at the description of the Award, as shown in the Awards Brochure or here.
